Overview of the use of the float switch

The float is mounted on a rotating rod with support and moves up and down as the level of the medium being measured changes. The other end of the rotating rod is fixed with a permanent magnet, and when the liquid level reaches a preset switching value, the permanent magnet can attract a magnetic reed contact (filling inert gas) in the contact tube.
Non-contact switching action can be achieved by using magnets and magnetic reed contacts, which avoids wear and eliminates the need for a power supply. The magnetic float switch has functional features that are insensitive to foaming, electrical conductivity, vapor, bubble formation and vibration.
The signal processing method of the float switch is relatively common, and can be directly connected to the PLC, the connection with the NAMUR circuit, the signal amplifier or the contact relay.
